Meditation is brain training. Just like physical fitness is training for your body. When you understand it is a process and you dedicate yourself to learning, with practice you see amazing results in every area of your life.
Michele, I don’t have time to meditate. You will see benefits with only 5 minutes a day! I know you have 5 minutes a day right? 🙂 Interested in practicing mindfulness? Meditation is an essential tool for helping you become more aware and be in the present, improving your mindfulness practice.
I’ll be discussing the common misconceptions, some of the benefits (there is a long list), information the scientific community, different meditation styles, and the best positive approach to enjoy the process and ensure your success.
I will also discuss the ways I have used meditation to help with anxiety, regulating strong emotions, having more control over thoughts, increasing my energy level, healing from emotional trauma, living mindfully, and spiritual connection.
After my presentation we will have a Q&A session where I’ll answer any questions and you will be able to share your experiences or interest in meditation. Afterward, I’ll end the session with a 10-minute meditation.
